Growing Crystals – Complete Mini Kit

Description

With this complete mini crystal growing kit, you can grow your own crystal. Growing crystals is easy and fun! The result is a beautiful crystal you can display in your room or classroom.

Included:

• 30g (1.2oz) of crystal powder (NH4H2PO4)
• 1 plastic cup with lid
• 2 gloves
• 1 stone base (starter)
• 1 stirring stick

Please note that these come in assorted colors (Blue, Green, Red, Orange, and White.) Please indicate your preferred color in the comments section of the checkout; otherwise, we will send you a random color. Depending on our current stock, we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

Crystal growing kit instructions:

1. Fill the plastic cup with very hot tap water to the line on the cup.
2. Add the crystal powder and stir quickly with the stirring stick until the powder is completely dissolved (within 1-2 minutes.) DO NOT continue to stir once the powder is dissolved – it might mess up your crystal!
3. Put the lid loosely on the cup, and place the cup in a room temperature setting where it won’t be disturbed. Wait 2-3 hours for the solution to cool down.
4. Once the solution has cooled, put the gloves on and place the stone base into the cup carefully, and leave it uncovered and undisturbed.
5. Your crystal will grow as the solution evaporates, which will take approximately two weeks. For the biggest crystal, leave it be until all of the solution dries out! Then, rinse your crystal with water and proudly display it!
